Greetings, fellow vidiots and game players of all ages. If you’re anything like people who ask questions, you’re probably asking yourself who the Video Game Fink is.
I am someone who notices many things, the least of which is not the fact that video game “journalism” today is in a sorry state–coverage for sale, literal hats made of actual money, and shady back door deals to guarantee good reviews. This sort of thing happens all the time! I know because I’m there. On the inside.

Over my many years as an insider in the video game biz, I’ve worked for all sorts of video game magazines, websites, and developers. I was there when Andy Eddie was writing for Video Games and Computer Entertainment. I was there when Electronic Arts bought Maxis and formed EA. And I was there when Dan “Hsu” Shoe sold Electronic Gaming Monthly and EGM to James “Jimmy the Milkman” Milky.
My unique history with video games has afforded me all sorts of insider dirt. Dirt that I still continue to get on my clean shirts to this very day. Expect this blog to be full of that dirt. You’ll get only the truest insider info and only the even-more-truest opinions on the goings on of the video game world. I’ll even give my unbiased opinions on the latest and greatest games. Guaranteed free of bribes and getting fired for not taking them!
Think Fink!
